There is a quiet place, within yourself, away from the storm. In the center of the whipping winds and stinging rain, there is sunlight, peace and tranquility.
This world, and often this blog, is often full of the terrible side of life – the things people should know about, don’t really want to know about, might want to think about and could benefit from being aware of…but also could suffer from, might be anguished by, become fearful of, or worry about.
In the center of all that, I want to remind myself and others, is a place of serenity. Of Knowing. Of a warm, all-encompassing and comforting love. It is there. At the center of all our atoms is the vacuum, that which binds and connects all things. But we must all participate in the act of finding it. At the very least we must recognize it is there and still the mind, to prepare our awareness. To create a place within ourselves for that quiet feather to land.
This can be very difficult, or it can be amazingly simple. We alone control our bodies, and our reactions towards the outer world. If we don’t – well, go back and read some of the things from my second paragraph. Yes, there are agendas, energies and devices being set against our peace of mind. But they are not our god. Our spirits have much, much greater powers than these.
Awareness is the first step. Then there are things we can do to foil them, to fight that battle. The armor is there. Find it and put it on. Go back and read the old masters. They knew this enemy. This type of struggle is exactly what they were referring to.
Enlightenment can come in a day; even in a minute, a second. Or it can come long and painfully, after much suffering. Just ask Buddha.
The Way can be lined with annoyances and unscrupulous people. But it is always there, ready to receive, ready to heal, ready to teach. Just ask Lao Tzu.
Love is our ultimate weapon. The energy we radiate back out into the world, even as we are bombarded with unimaginable atrocities and negativity, is what will change our reality. Just ask Jesus.
It’s only as hard as we think it is. We
only have as much power as we allow ourselves to have. For that matter,
the dark side only has as much power as we allow it to have. Just ask Yoda.
We are all bubbles of energy that radiate far outside our physical bodies, and interact with our reality; a feedback loop of information going in and out. Which information will we choose to receive, which shall influence us? And which shall we choose to release back out into the world?
Follow your heart, not the programmed knee-jerk reactions of your world gone mad. Take back what is rightfully yours. Peace of mind. Harmony. Start with yourself. Many will follow; meanwhile, just stay strong. Stay fiercely focused. We are poised for the most incredible journey we can imagine. Yes, – amidst the chaos of these days, is a bright and wonderful future, hiding there in the center of it all. Waiting for us to see it.
These are not pipe dreams. It can and indeed will happen. The question only remains, who will join me on this Great Journey? Who will be there to guide me when I fall down?
- If you live in New York City, you might want to check out a talk by Nassim Haramein of The Resonance Project, this coming Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at the Wild Project, 195 East 3rd St, New York, NY, at 8 PM for $20. First come first served, so come early to reserve your spot! He’s introducing his latest paper on Scaling Laws, which is truly some incredible revelations. It’s being sponsored by Daniel Pinchbeck and the folks over at Reality Sandwich. Should be a wild ride.

“I believe that the World Wide Web is, as a matter of fact, the noogenesis of the noosphere.” - Ralph Abraham, The Evolutionary Mind (1988)
Lawrence Hagerty wrote in The Spirit of the Internet,“…the Internet is not the noosphere. It is merely an infrastructure that is now available for the noosphere to use.” Hagerty goes on to profess, “I believe that the Internet is serving as just such an attractor, or basin of attraction, drawing the Earth’s most creative minds into a synergistic union out of which a new form of human consciousness can arise from the wells of chaos.“
The noosphere is a term created by Jesuit priest/radical thinker Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, whose ideas were frankly force-fed to me in college in the eighties (I happened to attend a Jesuit university where he was practically worshiped as a god). For that reason perhaps I wrongly assumed his teachings were more widespread than they actually were at the time. But I find no uncertain irony that his ideas continue to haunt my own delightfully synchronous journey towards Singularity.
Not the technological singularity of Ray Kurzweil; I’m talking more about what’s happening over at Reality Sandwich, and other important, alternative think tanks of our time. “New science” is termed thusly because, reminiscent of Capra’s intuitions of decades past, scientific discoveries are merged with new (and perhaps very old) interpretations of consciousness. This is how it should be; the Newtonian universe must ultimately be discarded in favor of the quantum discoveries that tickle our brains, easing us into new frontiers of existence, consciousness and human evolution. The homo cyber I find mentioned here and there, if left alone in the wilderness of pure artificial or mechanistic intelligence, would be the unfortunate result of not taking the final step of this process. Like refusing to take the red pill, our psyches would be left to rot inside the prison Matrix of third dimensional space-time. “There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy,” reminds Shakespeare.
The Internet may be Noosphere 1.0, a precursor to an enlightened state of consciousness; or perhaps, Noosphere for Beginners, or Noosphere for Dummies. Though arguably a creation of Big Brother’s sinister and eavesdropping omnipresence, the Internet is also being used, perfectly a la Tao, as a vehicle to transmit thoughts and ideas in preparation for a purely telepathic noosphere. The next several years its role will be vastly influential in terms of the global progression of consciousness, and I urge all to participate as they can until then (or until the government curtails this freedom, much as it has done with suppressing entheogens); but at some point, perhaps soon, the circuits and transistors will go the way of the covered wagon. Many of us will leave our electronic devices abandoned on the beach as we eventually look up and realize the great sea of enlightenment and oneness is before us, and go in for a dip – never to return. The key to ridding ourselves of the shackles of this reality is love, pure and simple. Love is the thing no machine can transmit; love is the unique trait, or ability, that will catapult our transformation from homo sapiens not to homo cyber, but to homo luminus.
The minds at work on the great consciousness project at this moment are alive during this time not by accident. They are all Surfing the Tao though they may not be aware of it. We are all giving what we have, and taking what we need, in some kind of post-modern, spirit-driven, psychedelic communistic mind trip, hastened by our collective visions of 2012 and beyond. Hagerty calles it entheospace; I might describe the sensation as a sort of dreamstate, finding oneself floating down a river of consciousness, gently colliding with others riding down the same stream in a kind of synchronistic, fractal pattern of atunement, as we all slip closer to the great sea.
Daniel Pinchbeck’s first book was entitled, Breaking Open the Head – which I mention here not for its particular content, which is a mind-expanding examination of the entheogenic experience, but because it so aptly illustrates my own particular state of being.
My own head cracked in college, during several misguided entheogenic experiences. I discovered Terence McKenna, but as far as spirituality goes, I was definitely a seeker who didn’t really want to spend any time looking.
This all changed in 1999. The previous fracture, which had begun to scar over, was rent asunder, and a torrent of new knowledge and higher frequencies began to stream in. I will only say: the true masters are truly hidden. And it is meant to stay that way, for now, perhaps because actual participants can often teach each other more in the beginning. But I was urged to continue meditating, and before long I had what Neil Kramer over at The Cleaver might call a fourth dimensional experience.
Without any entheogenic aid, I crossed over into the void. Suddenly, I Knew.
There are no further words for what I experienced. The language simply doesn’t exist. But it changed everything I knew, all that I was. What followed was years of reading, researching, listening, loving, meditating and change. Many of the books that appeared as if by magic I have listed here. My intellectual side was frustrated, but my spirit was at peace for the first time I can remember in my adult life. The end result of that was, I wrote a book, which was really just a cathartic expression of my overwhelmed psyche.
My own path is still guided by amazing synchronicity and coincidence. I find it startling how often I find articles written about the very subject I had been ruminating about. How I discover brilliant minds have already found answers to the questions I have been asking. How so many of our paths are beginning to converge on the Great Path. Spirituality, Taoism, 2012, eschatology, Planet X, the Matrix, conspiracy, sinister agendas, alien technology, symbology, synchromysticism, mind control, electromagnetism, alternative energy, quantum physics, plasma physics, torsion physics, entheogenic-inspired thought and conscious enlightenment, ecocentric living, — the puzzle pieces are coming together rapidly. I cannot explain how I know what I Know, yet I will say; the quickening is upon us. The noosphere is coalescing. The Puzzle of Being, and the question of consciousness, is in the process of being realized by a vast cadre of psycho-cryptographers.
The great irony is, I sense, that this enlightened, super-charged, noospheric state of being is and has always has been, here and now. This ancient Way that has been lost during our fall, over perhaps hundreds of thousands of years, is now being quickly rediscovered, picked up and dusted off as some kind of primordial reflex to protect ourselves from what we subconsciously know is coming. We are remembering, so that we will survive.
I remember Y2K. Regarding expectations for 2012, the intensity of thought, intellect, spirit, and energy now in 2008 is somewhat on par with what happened the months previous to Y2K. And we have nearly five years left. What incredible postulations, theories, discoveries, transitions, realizations, opportunities, manifestations, creations and expectations will surface between now and then?
And what will happen on December 21, 2012 at 11:11 universal time? That remains to be seen; but to prepare for either global catastrophe, psychedelic wormholes or simply more life as we know it – the only answer is, and always will be: love, peace and harmony.

- Truly well done article on the astrological forecast for 2008 over at Reality Sandwich.
- Foster & Partners is building the spiraling pyramidic mega-structure called Crystal Island in Moscow. Sir Norman Foster’s company is also responsible for the planned World Trade Center replacement, as well as various other designs all over the world which seem to incorporate very interesting geometry. Check out their various projects, especially the Spaceport America, the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation, the EXPO Station, and the controversial Wembley Stadium in London.
- Speaking of architectural geometry, they’re building solar pyramids in the UK (amid great controversy) and India…not sure why but just paying attention to uses and misuses of this powerful energetic structure…
- Benjamin Fulford, the anti-Illuminati journalist, interviewed David Rockefeller last month. Watch it (full length, 38 minutes) at Google or Youtube (Part 1 of 4). Fulford seems to be in an interesting position, supported and protected by the anti-Illuminati Asian secret societies, and says to us about Rockefeller and his cronies, “These guys are finished. You will be free soon.”
- Don’t get too happy yet, though. Scientists create machine that knows what you are thinking.
- On that note, good to see Daniel Pinchbeck’s new article, Military Mindfields, has him thinking about HAARP and other mind control issues as per researchers like Dr. Nick Begich. Anyone researching consciousness needs to be aware of this subject matter.

Sounds a great deal like the Voice of God weapon, LRAD, reportedly used by the military and now some police forces. If such things sound to incredible to be true, welcome to a brave new world indeed. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The military’s Active Denial System has been in the news too; this pain ray is becoming all the rage. Check out the Advanced Tactical Laser now being installed in Boeing C-130s. Reminds me of that silly movie from the ’80s with Val Kilmer, Real Genius.
There also seems to be a little more information coming out about military uses for HAARP according to this article.
Here’s a fun link to some weird hypno-mind control gadgets; on the other hand, many of us aren’t too happy about these new, invasive technologies. One group in Britain has gone so far as to systematically destroy surveillance cameras purportedly used for traffic infractions. Wonder if there’s any defense against the other technologies I mentioned above, aside from tin foil hats.
If there is indeed a consciousness shift in our future, one best be aware of such things. Could be they may hinder our ability not only to rationalize their very existence, but to raise our own electro-magnetic frequencies – not to mention warp our brains with mis-guided voices from ‘above’.

Maybe it's just me, but anyone else out there befuddled by all the public figures being outed lately? I can't say I know any statistics on the percentage of people with such underlying tendencies, and no doubt there are most likely a lot...(do I have to say here I have no issue with the gay lifestyle and some of my best friends are gay? Good. Let's get that out of the way.)
It just seems strange to me that a startling number of public figures are idiotically putting themselves into situations like this that risk becoming tabloid news. I mean, c'mon people! What on earth is a senator doing engaging in sex of ANY kind in a public restroom? It's as if they've been brainwashed or something...hey, now that's an interesting thought...
Truly it's not so much a matter anymore of who is or isn't gay; but if you're a social conservative who's consistently voted against gay rights, this repeated hypocrisy does eventually filter into the public consciousness. It should at least warrant a heads-up; I just get the feeling someone's up to something. Not to mention how these scandals divert our attention away from the real villains.
In searching for some kind of connection, I started to wonder if there were some weird club these guys all belong to, and that made me think of Freemasonry. No idea how many if any of them are Freemasons, but it's always a strong possibility with this bunch. So I searched for connections between Freemasonry and homosexuality, and not surprising I found the obligatory two points of view on this; one being that there are gay members but that it's not a point of contention within the organization. The other side comes from the conspiracy sites, which of course would have some believe it's part of the satanic orgies and rituals some claim they engage in.
The whole mess is just absolutely baffling on the one hand; on the other, one might imagine everyone is merely being manipulated in an elaborate chess game masterminded by an insidious puppeteer with a sinister agenda and a lewd sense of humor – and maybe even a super-powered gaydar gun.
“Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery. None but ourselves can free our minds.” - Bob Marley
Mind control and other emerging neuroscientific technologies and weaponry constitute a frightening aspect of the future we presently inhabit. When one considers potential spiritual ramifications, as perhaps not all researchers and reporters do, it becomes clear that at the very least, awareness is crucial. The only question that remains is what we can do about it.
Information is not the problem. Even if we have access to only the tip of the iceberg in terms of what has been released to the public, one can write books on it. Recently, one person did; last year Dr. Jonathan Moreno, a bioethicist, published Mind Wars: Brain Research and National Defense. Granted, as a former government advisor on biodefense, and child of another Dr. Moreno, a psychiatrist known for his own questionable psychotherapeutic endeavors including human experiments with LSD in the '50s and '60s, one does wonder at his motives. Especially interesting is that he made a point of insisting he went as far as he could in his research (though he admits he hit a few brick walls in terms of what certain people and agencies were willing to divulge about military uses for the technologies), and then proclaimed he was 'no conspiracy theorist' to the extent that he didn't quite believe the stories of people who claimed to have been victims of CIA-led mind control experiments and torture. That there are secrets too big to contain? Poppycock. In the name of national security (and perhaps threats to family, etc.) any and all can be kept quiet. Make no mistake about that.
His refusal to believe the disturbing stories is strange especially since in the '90s, he worked on a presidential advisory committee investigating secret human radiation experiments by the US Government since the 1940s. It was during that time he learned of the CIA's interest in LSD and other brain-altering methods – and still, in his own words, “it took the better part of another decade for me to achieve the insight that let to the idea behind this book: If national security agencies had so much interest in how the relatively primitive brain science of the 1950s and 1960s could help find ways to gain a national security edge, surely they must be at least as interested today, when neuroscience is perhaps the fastest growing scientific field, both in terms of numbers of scientists and knowledge being gained.“ (p.3) If it took someone so deeply involved in the subject matter ten years to begin questioning the ethics of new neuroscientific technologies, it does beg the (perhaps conspiratorial) thought: maybe we really are under some kind of mass hypnosis of non-knowing. Asleep we are, whilst wizards wage war right under our noses...or perhaps, behind them.
On the other hand, at least he's bringing up the subject and beginning a dialogue on the disconcerting topic of ethics in regard to the use of these little-understood systems. He suggests that these new technologies may warrant consideration for new rules, policies, standards and treaty obligations. Dr. Moreno found it “amazing” that no one had yet analyzed the relationship between brain science technology and national defense. Personally I'm not surprised. These agencies don't want their secrets out; that's what national security is all about. Information is kept divided between multiple scientists and studies, the right hand never knowing what the left one is doing. However I might add, if it's being tested, or worse, full-out used on our own population, we surely have the right to question the ethics and demand standards; but we may never really know if they would be adhered to, because the technologies themselves (many of which likely will never be declassified) could help to keep us in a state of denial or non-knowing or even not-caring. The capabilities of these technologies, even what little we know of them, can be frightening. It's like a science fiction/horror movie come to life. And some of them are coming to a neighborhood near you.
Much of the information available comes from DARPA, which Dr. Moreno reminds us is not an espionage outfit but a science agency, and is involved with development of “dual use” neuroscientific technologies valuable to both civilian commerce and national security. Apparently there was no way to know for sure whether the CIA or other espionage agencies were also researching brain sciences, since that would remain 'black', or secret, explains Dr. Moreno. However what we do know seems disturbing enough to start with, if I may suggest.
Certainly one is encouraged at the idea that robotized limbs might prove useful to amputees and paralysis victims. This article about electric fields being used against cancer tumors is also interesting. However “dual use” does raise Terminator-like concerns. Move over, Bionic Woman. Imagine an army of robots, Asimov-style; or perhaps, an army of soldiers with implanted neural prostheses. A recent article informs us that the Pentagon is working on what could be the first phase of this idea by implanting chips in our soldier's brains; do you believe they intend only to monitor their health, when we already know about Dr. Delgado's behavior control experiments with monkeys and bulls? Long range, electronic control of animals is already a proven ability. The Augmented Cognition program, or AugCog, is an interesting offshoot of this concept, involving human-systems integration.
Psyops, or psychological operations, reportedly began sometime after World War II, first involving low-tech propaganda such as leaflets. Research into paranormal phenomena such as remote viewing followed in the 1970s with studies at the Stanford Research Institute (SRI). Dr. Moreno touched on experiments with neuropharmaceuticals, Manchurian-candidate style. Psychotronic weapons, such as electromagnetic radiation or ELF (extra-low frequency) waves and other Tesla technologies, have proven interesting since the 1970s to the Soviet and the Chinese military, among others, and were mentioned in the Space Preservation Act of 2001 along with other 'exotic weapons' such as chemtrails. Such technologies are known to be able to influence the psychological states of humans from great distances. fMRI (functional magnetic resonance imagery) technology could identify at a distance individuals with increased blood flow to the brain, thereby suggesting they might be prone to aggressive behavior. Imagine such use at airports, for example. Fortunately, as Dr. Moreno points out, a big problem here is a giant magnet like that would suck everyone up along with their jewelry and belt buckles! Unfortunately, it seems they are working on a way around that problem; Project Hostile Intent was reported just a few days ago in The Guardian, planned implementation being 2012. The brain fingerprinter is another development causing many to worry that the military can, or is trying to, actually read our minds, and the issue of cognitive liberties is aptly noted. I don't think George Orwell would be very surprised.
Other DARPA programs such as PDS (Preventing Sleep Deprivation) and “Metabolic Dominance” promise enhanced abilities for soldiers, involving pharmaceuticals. Artificial intelligence programs such as LifeLog, now defunct, sought to artificially store memories and experiences; today, the Advanced Soldier Sensor Information System and Technology (ASSIST) seeks that very goal in combat situations. There's also talk of altering soldiers' neural circuits to lessen fear and stress. Transhumanism seems to many a natural evolution of our species; to others, the very death of it. Here the issue of spirituality seems quite threatened, in my opinion. Where does one draw the line, and where might spiritual individuality or awareness become lost? Visions of Star Trek's Borg are marching through my head.
Non-lethal weapons are fast becoming the talk of the war room. The Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Program (JNLWP), part of the US Marines, defines non-lethals as, “weapons that are explicitly designed and primarily employed so as to incapacitate personnel or materiel, while minimizing fatalities, permanent injury to personnel, and undesired damage to property and the environment.” The Pentagon, among others, is interested in technologies that have use in “Operations Other Than War” (OOTW). Crowd control, hostage rescue, and capture of criminals or terrorists are named as such situations. Acoustic devices are among those which have caught my attention. Hypersonic sound (HSS) was first developed by a genius inventor called Woody Norris, about whom the New York Times Magazine did a fascinating story in 2003. This device can aim sounds at individuals or groups, at debilitating volumes, without affecting surrounding people or areas. LRADs (Long Range Acoustic Devices) are already in use by the military, used as information and warning devices. HIDAs (High Intensity Directed Acoustics) are more aggressive, like 'sonic bullets', creating intense pain and vomiting. Trapped in Matter's blog recently commented on an emergency warning device going up in downtown Chicago; he took a picture of it, and it resembles our upgraded tsunami-warning sirens here in Hawaii, which I took some shots of yesterday. Also check out this crazy picture; we have these towers here too, purportedly cell phone towers, but in Phoenix they are disguised as palm trees! These devices are going up rapidly all over the place. It doesn't take much imagination to understand they probably have more than one use. Certainly HAARP, which uses electromagnetic radiation to influence the Schumann resonance, and thereby our own bodies and weather systems, comes to mind, no pun intended. For more information on this technology, which is now fully operational worldwide, I suggest starting with HAARP.net or Jerry Smith. There's enough about that to warrant the many books already written about it.
Stinkbombs, or malodorants, are another area of research. Recently in the news is the new flashlight weapon, called the LED Incapacitator, which flashes lights that make you disoriented and nauseous. Nanotechnology is also rapidly progressing; who knows the implications of that yet. Perhaps most concerning is technology, such as the so-called “Frequency Fence” which supposedly cuts of an individual's connection with their higher self, and the Holographic Insert, which can made three-dimensional objects (alien invasion? Second coming? 9/11?) appear in the sky. I could find a lot of rumors about those but not much substantive information. What I could find is evidence that there are proven capabilities to inject words and/or images directly into people's minds. See MindJustice for more on this.
Dr. Moreno ends his book by recommending these technologies remain within the realms of both academic and military research, so that the ethics of their uses can be controlled; but remember he did admit there is evidently quite of bit of secret research going on that even he couldn't find out about. 'Informed consent' is another of his recommendations for human experimentation; yeah, that'll happen. As if our government even abides by the Geneva Convention anymore.
So what to do? It's easy to become fearful, that's for sure – and yet we must be careful NOT to fall into that trap; fear has a certain frequency of its own, and spiritual awareness, not to mention love, is far more difficult in that state. There are several places to find out more and/or get help if you believe you've been a victim; check out Center for Cognitive Liberty and Ethics, the American Cognitive Liberties Association, or even Christians Against Mental Slavery. But aside from that, here are a few practical recommendations. Take care not to consume too many food additives or chemicals; these can and do alter the brain, perhaps even resonating in concert with some of the technologies mentioned above. Take some time to connect with your higher power; whether through prayer, meditation, music, yoga, tai chi, art, sports, or whatever works for you. Just find and maintain a higher consciousness as best you can.
Finally, I'd like to end with a little telling test of hope.
Point to yourself.
That's right; point to yourself.
Where did you point? In my experience I've found that most people place their finger or hand on their chest or heart, rather than their head. And this is a good thing. It tells me that what makes us us, our I AM so to speak, resides not in our brains but somewhere else. The essence of our spirit, and I believe we are spirit beings riding around temporarily in physical bodies, is connected to and resonates with a certain frequency that could remain outside the purview of our military if we simply know and practice this awareness. And TUNE IN to the frequency of LOVE. This seems simple and obvious but can actually be the most difficult thing to do, considering all the non-love we get bombarded with every day.
So am I horrified at these new technologies? Yes. Am I afraid? No. Don't stick your head in the sand; and yet, don't let them rule your life or get you down. I believe it's simply part of what is meant to happen, before we can take ourselves to the next level of being – or frequency. Our present dimension is not the end, nor is it the only one; quantum physics can teach us that already. What the powers-that-be may not realize is that they are increasing our awareness and understanding of the frequency of being to the extent that many more of us may indeed be able to escape their control one day. I personally have had the experience, in mediation, of touching a higher place (certainly I'm not the only one, either); I'm not going to preach to you about heaven, but I do believe in higher dimensions and our ability to get to a place where love rules the day. Can't prove it, but I've been there, and I plan on going back as soon as I can pass on the info to a few more souls.
So keep the faith. All is not lost – not by a long shot.
