• Controversy over the new anti-evolution documentary film, Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed.

• Interesting point of view about Jesus by Adam Elenbaas over at Reality Sandwich, Exorcising Christ from Christianity. If you’ve read my book you’ll know what a difficult spot it can be to think Jesus is awesome, and yet not feel pigeon-holed in any suspiciously organized, controlled belief system.
• Mr. Elenbaas also reported on the 2012 conference in Hollywood, which he noted was picked up surprisingly by Fox News.
• Finally, check out this awesome site, Internet Sacred Text Archive. It will keep you busy for years.

A Kean Eye points out that yet again, a fierce hurricane is coupled with a big earthquake. It seems he was also right about the “lights in the sky” - note this most recent hurriquake phenomenon, as so aptly coined by Mr. Matthams during the last round, was also in fact accompanied by not just strange lights in the sky over the Jersey shore this weekend and a few days earlier in Oregon, but another meteor shower. Hm. Check out this fireball sightings log over at the “American Meteor Society” and this story from Hurricane Dean and a Mexican community which believes UFOs protect them from hurricanes.

Also did you notice the news about Mexican truckers being allowed on US highways? Interesting that happens just days after the summit and on Labor Day weekend to boot. Score one for the SPP and the coming economic union; as if we didn't notice.

Update on a little microchipping news; in California, state legislators voted that employers cannot require employees to receive one; however, Alzheimer's patients seem to have less trouble with it.

Thanks to Kingsley over at Between Both Worlds for the heads-up about the Russian zombie weapons. The Brits also recently deployed their mass-kill thermobaric weapons and work is progressing on the invisibility cloak.

In other news of the apocalypse, the Chinese and Russian armies are working together, the UK is tracking a potentially threatening asteroid, there's a goat with six horns, a cow with two heads, a big hole in the middle of the universe, and – oh yeah - UFOs are real.

Finally to inject a little bit of lightness into the day, thanks to Pigonastick for this entertaining take on the Myers-Briggs personality tests (I'm an Idealist, which is funny because I did kind of run away and join the Rebellion).

• I’m not the only one here in Hawaii who found it strange that during the ‘hurricane’, satellite radar showed cloud cover when I looked outside and saw sunny skies. It has been the topic of conversation in town and I’m pretty convinced there was something going on there (HAARP, anyone?). Apparently Hurricane Erin also acted strangely. And check out this article (with videos) about strange lights that appeared before the earthquake in Peru recently; here’s the follow-up. A Kean Eye also informs us about the strange ‘hurricane pamphlets’ sent to NYC’s residents just days before a huge storm brought the city to a grinding halt. And seriously. A lot of big earthquakes lately.
• Scary follow-up from Trapped in Matter about those new acoustic devices going up in Chicago. Click on the link for the Modulator and listen to the ‘wail’ sound. It’ll make your hair stand on end.

• Gotta love the Danger Room. From reminders as to Wal-Mart’s power over China to constant updates on emerging military technologies, I can barely keep up. Spy Blog and Subtopia are fun new discoveries as well, thanks to fellow thinking blogger Kingsley.

• Controversy over the Federal ID has Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff warning that citizens in states who don’t ratify the act may have to have passports to travel domestically. Already the new passport rules for traveling to Canada have prompted a surge in new applications as well as a new rule; if you own back child support, good luck. Also the new passports are chipped.
• Quite a lot of talk online about the revelation that even the CIA and the Vatican edit certain pages on Wikipedia. Duh. The WikiScanner is now operational but one does wonder why they didn’t cover their tracks better.
• More changes at our Kilauea volcano as lava bench collapses.
• Previously unknown islands appear as ice melts rapidly in Arctic. Just keep it in mind when you hear news of the race (US, Canada, Russia, Denmark) to claim its resources.
• Wordpress users will pick up on the news that the popular blogging platform has been blocked in Turkey. That article contains a few tips on how to circumvent that if you are affected.

• If you’re a fan of Monty Python as I am you’ll find this serious research on ‘silly walking‘ quite silly indeed.

• Put your tinfoil caps away, folks. Seems like all they’re doing is amplifying the government’s mind control frequencies.

• Scientists now say they have evidence of at least 201,055 undersea volcanoes; over 10 times more than previously discovered. Estimates are there could be as many as three million!

• Apparently a group had planned a voyage into the Hollow Earth this summer, but had to cancel the adventure when one of their colleagues passed away. Hmmm…

• The Tunguska mystery has resurfaced in the news. Scientists believe they may have found an impact crater indicative of an asteroid, but this letter, written by Nikola Tesla to the New York Times just a couple of months earlier before the explosion in 1908, has always made me wonder…

• China’s weather modification program is in the news again; other countries do it too, including the US.

From The Plan to Disappear Canada by Murray Dobbin, “If the machinations going on in this country regarding so-called "deep integration" were instead a communist conspiracy to take over the country (you will, of course, have to try hard to imagine this) the news media would be blaring the story.

Pundits would pontificate, editorialists would erupt, security forces would be unleashed.

Instead, a virtual conspiracy to make the country disappear through assimilation into the U.S. gets barely a mention.

But news of the scheme -- formally called the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP) -- is finally breaking out of the secret chambers of the ruling elite and the federal government. This is both good news and bad. It's good that ordinary citizens are finally getting a glimpse of the betrayal of their country. The news is bad because it reflects just how much of this scheme is already being implemented. “

Mr. Dobbin goes on to summarize the main points of the arrangements in the works.  Our government claims the agreement is still ‘informal’ (White House spokesman Tony Snow called the NAU a ’myth’), but others insist it was signed without our approval on March 23, 2005 in Waco, Texas by President George W. Bush, Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin and Mexican President Vicente Fox.  From Robert Pastor at the CFR, “The main recommendation of the Task Force is the creation, by 2010 at the latest, of a North American security and economic community whose boundaries will be defined by a common external tariff and an outer security perimeter".  Indeed, over 300 agencies are already ‘harmonizing’ regulations of such things as energy, taxes, tariffs, and pesticides, many of which were originally part of NAFTA and are now being ‘fast-tracked’ by the SPP initiative.  Even a trilateral open skies initiative has been discussed.  (Incidentally, the US and the EU are also ‘harmonizing’ regulations.)  Security concerns have always topped the list of justifications for integration. At least one NAFTA superhighway is also in the works (with new RFID tracking technology), even though fourteen states have petitioned Congress to abandon the SPP. 

Secretive summits have been held as critics declare an elitist corporate agenda works out the details of their scheme away from prying eyes.  Indeed they may have good reason: outspoken critics include Lou Dobbs, Rep. Ron Paul, Rep. Virgil Good (R-Va), and Connie Fogal of the Canadian Action Party, and there are plans to protest the next meeting of the SPP on August 21-22nd in Montebello, Quebec.  Opponents from both Canada and the US are up in arms over the potential loss of sovereignty.  Others go further, claiming the plans are an act of treason or sedition.  At least two other recent acts, the National Defense Authorization Act of 2007(NDAA), which gives the President dictatorial powers in the case of ‘public emergency’, and the Military Commissions Act which suspended habeas corpus in 2006, have been linked to the plans by some opponents.  For more information, here is a timeline of the events leading up to deep integration, those organizations working to support the plan, and those fighting against it.  Pierre Hillard also provides a substantial overview, as does Dr. Jerome R. Proponents insist there are no plans to undermine the US Constitution or create a unified currency, but others maintain these issues will likely be addressed eventually, and probably already have been behind closed doors.    Immigration will certainly play a major role in the decision-making process; some wonder if the issue is being used as a diversion, or a “mechanism for achieving the globalists’ NAU goal”.  From WorldNetDaily.com, “WASHINGTON -- The controversial 'Secure Borders, Economic Opportunity and Immigration Reform Act of 2007,' which would grant millions of illegal aliens the right to stay in the U.S. under certain conditions, contains provisions for the acceleration of the Security and Prosperity Partnership, a plan for North American economic and defense integration, WND has learned."  Attaching such an emotional and controversial issue to the globalization agenda is a cleverly sinister way to achieve their eventual goals of a New World Order.

• For those of you who read my book and remember my analogy about the Mirror Image of the truth, this article about the US Department of Defense developing a Psyops program that will create a parallel Planet Earth, an actual alternative reality, will give you pause. 

• Seeing a large meteor streaking across the sky, and even hearing the accompanying sonic boom, is a rare experience; the past couple of weeks two notable sightings have been recorded, one in Idaho and the other in Sri Lanka.

• A few weeks ago NASA released a few photographs from the Hubble telescope of two large asteroids in our solar system, Ceres and Vesta.  Then just recently they reported the cameras were suddenly and inexplicably not working.   Again.  Hmmm…

• Somark Innovations has created a biocompatible ink tattoo with chipless RFID functionality.  Mark of the Beast, anyone?  Not for the folks over at We the People Will Not Be Chipped.com, that’s for sure.

• Pretty soon we’ll have to have a passport to go to Canada.  In fact there are so many people applying for passports to comply with the new regulations, the system is backlogged and they had to delay the start date.  For more information go here.
